This is the first time that I really wish I can share the music file on the blog. But unfortunately, I can't.

Oral fixation volume 1 by Shakira is such a passionate and sensual album that is definetely worth listening. Maybe partly due to the fact that I do NOT understand Spanish, I am left undistracted to appreciate the notes and beats more. They just resonate and communicate with the hearts without the help of words. The fact that you can relate to the song by letting your imagination running wild is why I love it. Also, I love listening to Spanish. It has a magic to it. Ever since my Spanish friend spent some time here, I fell in love with this language. It subtly transmits a sesual and passionate signal somehow. Moreover, Shakira has a great voice and is an excellent singer who is also very beautiful and confident. Her confidence in herself comes through the music.

I strongly recommend this album. I suggest listening to it a couple times before you even look up the translation. You will find out that the music speaks to you in a whole new way that you never experienced (at least I did not). I especially love "Las de la Intuicion" and "la tortura". These two songs offer strong rhythm to lift one's blue mood while "Dia de enero" is a sweet song for a relaxing Sunday afternoon.
